This small 40 m\u00b2 apartment was a true pleasure to work on. The owner, a young and successful woman, wanted to decorate her Zagreb residence in a mixed style combining industrial design, minimalism, and contemporary Art Deco. The complete renovation of the apartment, including the demolition of all partition walls, was a significant challenge. The entire apartment has only one interior door, and that is the bathroom door. The apartment space was opened up by merging the hallway, kitchen, dining\/working area, living room, and sleeping area. We visually separated the sleeping area with angled wooden slats from ceiling to floor, creating an airy and bright space for living and working.<\/p>\n
All the furniture was designed and custom-made, except for the blue velvet sofa and armchair, the purple box spring bed, and the black coffee table. Copper accents run throughout the apartment, including the sink and faucet, the chandelier, and painted copper pipes. The main wall in the living and sleeping areas was painted in a concrete style using a special technique. The kitchen features simple lines in achromatic colors, as does the table running along the length of the room, which can be used for dining, working, or socializing. The bathroom is clad in tiles resembling natural stone, with black faucets.<\/p>\n

Ovaj mali stan od 40 m\u00b2 bio je pravo zadovoljstvo za raditi. Vlasnica je mlada i uspje\u0161na \u017eena koja je \u017eeljela svoju zagreba\u010dku rezidenciju urediti u miksanom stilu izme\u0111u industrijskog dizajna, minimalizma i suvremenog art decoa. Potpuna obnova stana, uklju\u010duju\u0107i ru\u0161enje svih pregradnih zidova, predstavljala je veliki izazov. Cijeli stan ima samo jedna unutarnja vrata, i to kupaonska. Prostor stana je otvoren spajanjem hodnika, kuhinje, blagovaonice\/radnog prostora, dnevnog boravka i spava\u0107eg dijela. Spava\u0107i dio smo prividno odvojili uko\u0161enim drvenim letvama od stropa do poda, \u010dime smo dobili prozra\u010dan i svijetao prostor za \u017eivot i rad.<\/p>\n
Sav namje\u0161taj je projektiran i ra\u0111en po mjeri, osim sofe i fotelje od plavog bar\u0161una, ljubi\u010dastog box spring kreveta i crnog stoli\u0107a za kavu. Kroz stan se prote\u017eu bakreni akcenti poput sudopera i pipe, lustera i obojenih bakrenih cijevi. Glavni zid u dnevnom i spava\u0107em dijelu obojen je u betonskom stilu posebnom tehnikom. Kuhinja je jednostavnih linija u akromatskim bojama, kao i stol uzdu\u017e sobe na kojem se mo\u017ee jesti, raditi ili dru\u017eiti. Kupaonica je oblo\u017eena plo\u010dicama u stilu prirodnog kamena s crnim pipama.<\/p>\n
