Creativity has been a hallmark throughout the professional life of interior designer Isabela Amalie Bonyaj. She graduated with a degree in German and Italian from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. After working as a language teacher and aspiring towards creative professions, she has spent the past 24 years establishing herself in the marketing industry, both within large companies and as the owner of her own marketing agency, DIVERSUS.<\/p>\n
Isabela masterfully blends her personal interests with her professional endeavors, fully aware that imagination is the key to the creative process. She uses her extensive creative and marketing experience successfully in interior design as well.<\/p>\n

The name DIVERSUS DESIGN suggests a desire to be different from others (Latin: DIVERSUS meaning different, unique). Her original approach, combined with a vision and passion for art, aesthetics, and interior design, along with her rich marketing experience, results in a series of impressive and highly respectable projects. Even early in her marketing career, back in 2000, Isabela was designing some of the most recognizable spaces: the VIP Internet caf\u00e9 on Cvjetni trg (square) in Zagreb, the first VIP Internet corners in hotels and libraries across Croatia, and proposals for the first Internet caf\u00e9 at the airport.<\/p>\n
In the last decade, she has designed several private interiors, keenly following global trends in materials and design styles. To better merge her \u2018professional\u2019 creativity with her love for interior design, she took a bold step in 2021 by enrolling in Interior Design at Aspira College. In the spring of 2022, she successfully defended her thesis, officially turning her hobby into a profession. She soon began designing several apartments intended for sale or rent, repurposing apartments into office spaces, and designing custom furniture, guided by the wishes and needs of her clients who happily recommend her to others.<\/p>\n

Originalan pristup sa vizijom i stra\u0161\u0107u prema umjetnosti, estetici i interijeru u kombinaciji s bogatim marketin\u0161kim iskustvom iznjedrit \u0107e niz efektnih i nadasve respektabilnih uradaka. I kroz marketin\u0161ku karijeru jo\u0161 davne 2000. godine Isabela je osmi\u0161ljavala i neke od najprepoznatljivijih prostora: VIP internet cafe na Cvjetnom trgu, prve VIP Internet cornere u hotelima i knji\u017enicama diljem Hrvatske, prijedloge za prvi Internet cafe na aerodromu…<\/p>\n
Kroz zadnje desetlje\u0107e ure\u0111uje nekoliko privatnih interijera, prati svjetske trendove razvoja materijala i stilove ure\u0111enja s velikim zanimanjem. Kako bi \u0161to bolje spojila ‘poslovnu’ kreativnost i ljubav prema ure\u0111enju interijera, 2021. odlu\u010duje se na novi iskorak. Upisuje Dizajn interijera na Visokoj \u0161koli Aspira. U prolje\u0107e 2022. brani uspje\u0161no svoj zavr\u0161ni rad i tako pretvara i slu\u017ebeno hobi u posao. Uskoro kre\u0107e sa ure\u0111enjem nekoliko stanova namijenjenih prodaji ili najmu, osmi\u0161ljava prenamjene stanova u poslovne prostore, projektira namje\u0161taj po mjeri vode\u0107i se \u017eeljama i potrebama naru\u010ditelja koji ju sa zadovoljstvom preporu\u010duju dalje.<\/p>\n

Her inspiration comes from the Art Deco style of the 1920s, which she loves to integrate into her work in a more modern and clean version. Her signature style is a refined aesthetic that adds a special charm to the ambiance, with playful materials and colors. She prefers to combine Italian design with French casualness, and she has a particular love for Mediterranean stone houses. For her, plants are an essential part of both interior and exterior spaces, and she strives to incorporate them into her projects. As a strong advocate for ecology, she aims to use eco-friendly or recycled materials. She believes that beauty doesn’t have to be expensive; on the contrary! She is particularly drawn to the art of combining modern elements with restored antique pieces, which makes a home subtly warm and cozy, perfectly reflecting her personality and distinctive touch. This results in a rounded impression of high style, comfort, and visually pleasing details.<\/p>\n

Njen je pe\u010dat profinjena estetika koja ambijentu daje posebnu dozu \u0161arma, razigranosti materijala i boja. Preferira \u00a0kombinirati \u00a0talijanski dizajn i francusku le\u017eernost, a posebna ljubav su joj kamene mediteranske ku\u0107e. Biljke su za nju va\u017ean dio kako interijera tako i eksterijera te ih nastoji svugdje uklopiti u svoje projekte. Kao veliki pobornik ekologije nastoji (is)koristiti ekolo\u0161ke ili reciklirane materijale. \u00a0Ne smatra da sve mora biti jako skupo da bi bilo lijepo, dapa\u010de! Posebno je privla\u010di umije\u0107e spajanja modernih elemenata i restauriranih komada starina koje dom \u010dine decentno toplim i ugodnim, a tako savr\u0161eno ocrtavaju njenu osobnost i prepoznatljiv ‘touch’.
